Yankee Shakedown

ykcover.1006.120.gifNew England’s Yankee magazine is undergoing some changes. Editor-in-chief Michael Carlton is gone (we’re told he was “let go” by a source in position to know), replaced by former executive editor Mel Allen.

The magazine is going to be redesigned, and perhaps resized. There are more changes afoot and being considered, including a slowdown to a bi-monthly publication schedule. The staff changes at the top aren’t the only ones. Those who remain don’t all know of all the ongoings. Issues with ad revenue have been mentioned as a culprit for at least some of the moves.

Stay tuned.
