Washingtonian Gives Groupon a Go

Washingtonian is the latest D.C. publication to slash their subscription costs in an attempt to beef up distribution via daily deal site Groupon.  The magazine is offering new customers a one-year subscription for $14.00: a  53% savings off their typical price of $30.00 annually.  WaPo was the first local publication to test the group buying phenomenon last August and TNR tried it out in October.  To get in on Washingtonian’s one-day deal, click here.
