WaPo's Bombshell Correction

In the regular world of journalism this might not be such a big deal. But since WaPo has been plagued lately by a rash of not citing other publications that break news before them, this is monumental.  It’s unclear whether this will continue as policy on citations appears to change day to day, section to section. A correction in today’s WaPo reads as follows:

A Nov. 30 Style article about WikiLeaks’ decision to withhold documents from the New York Times did not acknowledge that Yahoo News first reported that the Times received the information from the British newspaper the Guardian.
