Valleywag Pay Cuts

Perhaps Jordan Golson, the Valleywag blogger who publically complained last week about not knowing his Q2 salary, would rather have remained ignorant. ProBlogging reports that Golson and other writers at the Silicon Valley-covering site will take a 33 percent pay cut despite soaring traffic. The writers will now get $6.50 per thousand page views, down from $9.75. Nick Denton has to pay for those new digs somehow.
