TWT's Rowland Loses Childhood Home in Xmas Morning House Fire

TWT White House reporter Kara Rowland lost her childhood home in a fire this weekend.

No one was hurt. Everyone escaped before the blaze destroyed the home. It was Rowland’s father’s house in Fairfax County. They moved in when she was 12 but she still calls it her childhood home. “It happened on the morning of Christmas day,” she told FishbowlDC by email after being asked for comment. “I wasn’t there at the time but my Dad, his wife, her mother and brother were.”
