Twitter Pays Tribute Following Death Of Top Gun Director Tony Scott

British-born movie director Tony Scott, whose blockbuster hits included Top Gun, True Romance, Crimson Tide, Beverly Hills Cop II and Man On Fire, has died aged 68 after throwing himself from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles yesterday.

While details are still sketchy, Scott’s death is being investigated as a suicide by the officials in Los Angeles, and fans and friends have taken to Twitter to pay tribute.

The younger brother of fellow director Ridley Scott (Alien), Tony Scott, and many of his films, are trending strongly on Twitter, and here are some of the posts made by his colleagues and peers in Hollywood and across the world.
