Times Art Dept. Teams Lohan With Cruise, Gibson

A fine if vaguely familiar piece in today’s New York Times about marquee names not necessarily translating into marquee dollars was accompanied by the illustration [above] featuring ticket stubs bearing Tom Cruise, Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson. Now, we’re not saying she’s not a little wacked, prone to club-sized breakdowns, and her name certainly doesn’t draw crowds to the cineplex (Herbie Fully Loaded, anyone?). But is Lohan really on the Cruise-Gibson level of crazy?
