Tim Starks, formerly CQ Roll Call’s national security reporter, is coming to Politico, announced editor Susan Glasser and PoliticoPro editor Marty Kady in an email to staff. Starks will work on the cybersecurity beat, helming Politico’s newsletter on cybersecurity.
In addition to reporting on national security for CQ Roll Call, Starks ran the site’s short-lived defense blog, Five By Five. Before coming to CQ Roll Call, he worked at the New York Sun, where he opened the paper’s Washington bureau.
