Tim Carney Upped to Commentary Editor at the Washington Examiner

Tim Carney is moving up the opinion ranks at the Washington Examiner and into a new role as commentary editor, beginning Dec. 1. He is currently senior political columnist.
“Tim is taking command of the commentary team in Washington to coincide with the arrival of a Trump administration and the new Congress,” said editorial director Hugo Gurdon in a statement. “He is a great journalist and will bring an energy and skill set that will help Washington Examiner engage more fully with decision makers whom voters have put in place for at least the next two and four years.
