Veteran Jumps to Martini Media

Thomas O'Regan to become chief revenue officer at affluent-centric network

Thomas O'Regan, longtime sales chief at, has been named chief revenue officer at Martini Media, which specializes in reaching an affluent demographic.

O'Regan, most recently vp of ad sales at, logged 13 years with the company, dating back to its dot-com boom heyday. While O’Regan’s departure was said to be unrelated, TheStreet has recently gone through major changes, including a round of layoffs and the installation of new CEO Elisabeth DeMarse.

At Martini, O’Regan will focus on steering the four-year-old company to profitability. While the online ad network space is beyond overcrowded at this point, Martini’s specialized approach—its thousand-plus partners sites are geared for a money crowd—helps it stand out. Last December, the company announced it had raised $13 million in funding, which it plans to put toward targeting technology and analytics, according to TechCrunch.
