The Top Ten Highest Paid Authors Netted $270M Last Year
Forbes has released a list of the highest paid authors, and if you’re well read than you still get paid.
The ten authors making up the list earned $270 million over the past year. Author of thrillers, James Patterson tops the list with a total of $70 million in earnings, in the last year. It must motivate him to write, since he has signed on to write 17 more books by 2012 for a total of $100 million.
