Howard Kurtz’s regular weekly chat today has several good exchanges about the crazy coverage afforded the Runaway Bride in Atlanta over the weekend, including this Moment of Truth:
Question: … Once it was discovered that she was a runaway, why didn’t the networks drop the story? To me, I would have been embarrassed to keep following a non-story.
Howard Kurtz: That’s why you’re not a highly paid network producer.
On the up side, she’ll probably turn up at next year’s correspondents’ dinner courtesy
