The John Alexander Project

A good cause you should support…from a reader:

Hi there, I wanted to let you all know about an organization I am involved with hopes that you might have an interest in participating here in Washington. John Alexander was a former ABC colleague who died suddenly last December while working in China for Ted Koppel and the Discovery Channel Unit on their documentary series. John loved the journalism business and as he moved up the ladder he continually reached out to mentor interns and desk assistants, helping them along with their interests in the industry. To carry on his legacy a group of his colleagues have started The John Alexander Project which will assist students who are interested in the journalism field with financial stipends and mentor matching. If you are interested in learning more and participating please take a look at the link below. Additionally, this Saturday evening, Oct 18th there an event at Solly’s to talk about the launch, If interested, I hope you can make it!
