Superman, David Hirshey and Daily News Reporter Sean Evans Play Soccer in Chinatown

Earlier this afternoon we jumped on the subway, headed into Manhattan and watched a celebrity soccer game in Sara Roosevelt Park featuring former players such as Tony Meola and celebrities including Superman Brandon Routh and Without a Trace star Anthony LaPaglia. HarperCollins’ David Hirshey coached one team.

The event was in support of Grassroot Soccer, an organization co-founded by Survivor-Africa winner Ethan Zohn that’s dedicated to raising AIDS awareness in Africa.
