Strike Watch: SNL's Contributions To The WGA East Strike

The cast of SNL has been particularly active during the course of the Writer’s Guild of America strike. The show’s head writer Seth Meyers has a perfect attendance record on the WGA East picket line. Amy Poehler and the cast performed live at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in Chelsea on Saturday night with proceeds going to much of SNL’s production staff, laid off because of the strike(even Executive Producer Lorne Michaels was in attendance).
