Stefan Sagmeister Goes Bananas at Deitch Projects

Sagmeister at Deitch! It may sound like a precursor to “Gesundheit” or some obscure Bavarian toast, but it’s actually one of the most exciting exhibitions we’ve seen in a while. On view through February 23 at New York’s Deitch Projects is “Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far,” an interactive exhibition of works by graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister. The show coincides with the imminent publication of Sagmeister’s book of the same name (the Abrams title will also include essays by Steven Heller, Daniel Nettle, and Nancy Spector).

So what has Sagmeister learned thus far in life? Well, apparently it involves a whole lot of bananas.
