Mayor Bill de Blasio has just tapped Sree Sreenivasan as New York City’s chief digital officer. He previously held the same role for The Metropolitan and Columbia University.
“With Sree Sreenivasan’s wealth of experience, I am confident he will work to promote transparency, access, and progressive values with our digital tools, helping spread access across the five boroughs,” said de Blasio, in a statement.
Sreenivasan will begin his new role this fall.
