Financial Professionals Are Seeing The Value In Social Media [STUDY]
U.S. financial professionals are now starting to recognise the value in social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, reveals a new study.
American Century Investments polled U.S. financial pros on their attitudes towards social media and found that more than one-third now believe that these tools have value for their business, compared to about one-fifth in 2010.
More than half (56 percent) felt that social media had significant future potential for their business, with only 13 percent maintaining that it was a fad with little value.
While some respondents were still worried about regulatory and compliance issues when using social media, the severity of this concern has fallen in the last few years.
