San Francisco Chronicle Gets Into the Radio Business
The parent company of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Hearst Corporation, already has a couple of Baltimore radio stations in the fold: WBAL-AM and 98 Rock FM. As of today, it can indirectly add another.
The website for its San Francisco newspaper holding has partnered with Earbits for SFGate Radio, a multi-channel hub that showcases local acts and performers headed to the city for a near-future performance. Per today’s press release:
SFGate Radio listeners can view band photos, read artist bios, and access links to buy concert tickets and music.
