San Diego LGBT Weekly Shifting to Bi-Weekly Print Schedule

Stampp Corbin, publisher of San Diego LGBT Weekly, has shared an intriguing New Year’s message.

In deference to those readers who, like him, still prefer print, he is not entirely abandoning the old-school model. Instead of a weekly print edition, the bricks-and-mortar side of LGBT Weekly will now come out every other week:

Our new bi-weekly publication will have more content and will also feature longer interviews, as well as more detailed news and entertainment features. All the things that you have come to love about the print publication will still be there…

Becoming a bi-weekly publication makes everything work as it should and gives you our readers the best of all worlds – a solidly profitable media organization that can serve the San Diego LGBT community on multiple platforms into the future.

The website gets upwards of 30,000 unique San Diego monthly visitors, while more than 10,000 readers also currently making use of the publication’s discount-affinity program The Pride Card. He says regular columnists will continue to write weekly and appear every other week both online and in that week’s print edition.
