Sacramento Bee Announces More Cuts

The Sacramento Bee will eliminate 25 jobs as of Jan. 29, a number management hopes to reach through buyouts, not layoffs.

The cuts are the fourth to hit the paper in 18 months and the first since last March, the Bee reports. No word on which departments will be hit.

Bee publisher and president Cheryl Dell cited “a prolonged period of revenue declines” as the reason for the cuts.
