Rupert Murdoch Realigns Internet Sales Force, Now Easier to Spot Slackers

On Friday afternoon, we asked Dan Berger, director of communications at Fox Interactive Media, about the announcement that FIM was restructuring its sales force.

The move will make FIM more efficient and more profitable by changing the sales structure, he told us. “We are decentralizing the sales force,” Berger said. “The managers of vertical sales forces will now be more embedded into their product groups.” Translation: Rupert Murdoch will now know exactly who’s to blame if sales figures come up short.
