Rupert Murdoch: Existence Of Both 'Sky' And 'Skype' Much, Much Too Confusing For Consumers
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s five year-long legal battle with internet communication system Skype was recently revealed when the company announced its intention to float on the Nasdaq stock exchange via a 250-page document. The document included the revelation that Murdoch’s BSkyB has claimed that the similarity between the two companies’ names presents too much of a confusion to consumers.

The company says that it has won the right to use its name in Switzerland, Turkey and Brazil, but that the European Union has ruled against it.
