By way of Archinect, we saw that yesterday in the Guardian, writer Steve Rose returned to a story that was getting some buzz a couple of months back: houses by Ikea, aka the “BoKlok. You’ll remember, when dozens upon dozens of sites were posting, “Get this! Ikea’s building whole houses now!” that the homes were far less expensive than your traditional home, quick to build, and they were coming to England in droves. Now the Guardian takes a look at where the designs first launched and have been wildly successful: Sweden.
