Allure continues to make changes as the Condé Nast publication looks to cut costs. WWD hears that “the majority of Allure’s 15-odd contributing editors were told their contracts would not be renewed,” a list that includes Jeffrey Slonim, David DeNicolo, Joan Kron and Brooke Hauser. That’s not likely to be the last of the staff shuffling, either, as new editor in chief Michelle Lee is reportedly interviewing for a number of positions. Plus, Allure probably won’t be the last of the Condé publications to go through layoffs, as the entire company seeks to shed salaries…

Staffers at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia are bracing for layoffs. Sequential Brands Group is finally the official owner, and CEO Yehuda Shmidman announced a “restructuring.” No word on the details, but we’ll keep an eye out… O, The Oprah Magazine promotes Adam Bell to managing editor and director of editorial partnerships. He joined the magazine in 2010 from Seventeen… Daniel Luzer leaves Governing, where he had been news director, for a spot as senior editor of TheWeek.com… Bill Price walks away from his gig as sports editor at the New York Daily News for the editor in chief spot at NHL.com.
