Qwiki -- the Spoken Wiki
This is a new app for the iPad out this week called Qwiki. It’s something of a cross between a Wiki with computer generated content and a blog. It covers both current and historical data. Its most interesting feature is an integrated text to speech function.
I’ve tried it, and it’s not worth using. The content is shallow and the voice is annoying. It’s like having The Daily read to you by Stephen Hawking. The content is also poorly generated and in a couple cases hilariously so.
