PopSugar Hires Two Execs to Lead Marketing, Advertising Efforts

New staffers tasked with pushing 'growth and expansion'

The celebrity and lifestyle site PopSugar is staffing up its advertising and marketing team with two new executive-level hires.

Colette Dill-Lerner, formerly vp of Internet marketing at Guthy-Renker, will work on marketing and audience-building efforts, according to the company. And Chris George, who was most recently at SpinMedia, will work on fostering new advertising opportunities. George also put in about four years at Myspace, which officially launched its new site on Wednesday.

Both new hires "will be supporting PopSugar's growth and expansion and providing new tools, insights, and opportunities for brand partners," the company said in a release.

CEO Brian Sugar lauded the hires in a statement: “We are fortunate to have both Colette and Chris join us at this very exciting time at PopSugar.
