PiPress Wants $2.4M In Cuts
The St. Paul Pioneer Press wants a pay freeze, a 401(k) match freeze, a freeze in pay increases tied to years of experience, and more, the Newspaper Guild’s PiPress rep told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The concessions will save $2.4 million. If the concessions don’t come, 30 union employees could lose their jobs.
