Penton Hires Three Senior Executives

B2B publisher Penton Media — which offers titles covering wealth management, trucking, and many topics in between — has announced a trio of hires to fill out its executive suite.
Brad Mehl joins as vice president of audience development and research. He comes from online manufacturing marketplace ThomasNet.com, where he handled marketing, partnership, analytics and other responsibilities.
The new vice president of Internet technology will be Nino Tasca. Tasca comes from fellow B2B publisher Ziff Davis (which, by the way, was bought by former Time Inc. exec Vivek Shah in June).
Finally, Mike Hancock will be heading up international sales for Penton. Like Tasca, he comes from another B2B house, Reed Business Information.
Penton Media emerged from bankruptcy in March following the approval of a plan that would relieve the company of $270 million in debt.
