Noah Kotch Named Senior Editor/Director of Video at WaPo

The Washington Post announced the hiring of Noah Kotch as its new senior editor/director of video this morning

The Washington Post announced the hiring of Noah Kotch as its new senior editor/director of video this morning. Starting today, he will report to Emilio Garcia-Ruiz, managing editor of digital for the Post, and will work with GM for video Steve Schiffman.

“Noah has a proven track record on both the business and editorial side of video, having worked with some of the biggest media brands in the world, and we are thrilled to have him lead this talented video team,” said Garcia-Ruiz.

Kotch, a Yale University graduate, will manage a group of more than 40 professionals “focused on producing original video for the Post”

“I am honored by the chance to lead the award-winning video team at such a storied and innovative brand,” said Kotch.
