Nick Brien Named CEO of Hearst’s iCrossing

A change at the top.

Hearst Corporation has named Nick Brien president of Hearst Magazines Marketing Services and CEO of iCrossing, Hearst’s digital ad agency.

According to an announcement, Brien most recently served as “a strategic consultant, board advisor and early-stage investor in digital media, advertising and technology startups.” Brien was previously CEO of McCann Worldgroup for two years.

At Hearst, Brien will report to Hearst Magazines’ president, David Carey.

In related news, Brian Powley — who had been with iCrossing for eight years, most recently as global president — is leaving the company.
