NFL Keeps Promise, Shows Raiders-Texans Ending

Remember Week 2 of the NFL season when local football fans missed the ending of the Oakland Raiders-Buffalo Bills game for the start of the San Diego Chargers contest?

Well, the NFL stuck to their word and didn’t cut away from Sunday’s exciting ending between the Raiders and Houston Texans.

Just 24 hours following the death of owner Al Davis, the Raiders held on for a 25-20 road victory over Houston when Michael Huff intercepted Matt Schaub in the endzone.

With 3:43 remaining in the game, “a scrawl came on the screen that read, “We will be going to the Chargers/Broncos game immediately following the conclusion of the Raiders/Texans game,” according to Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com
