Newspaper Industry Wages Drop, Unless You Work in Marketing

Well, it’s hard to find a job in the newspaper industry, but don’t get too excited if you happen to find one. It turns out newspaper industry wages have decreased by an average of 1.42 percent over the last year, according to a new survey.

The Inland Press Association released its annual Newspaper Industry Compensation Survey, which had over 400 newspapers participating across the nation. All compensation from top of the organization to the bottom fell on the publishing side, according to the survey.
