Newseum's Inside Media: Belva Davis
Next up in the Newseum’s “Inside Media” series is broadcast legend Belva Davis. Belva began her reporting career in 1966, when she became the first female African-American television reporter on the West Coast, working for KPIX-TV (Channel 5) in San Francisco. She currently hosts a weekly public affairs program on KQED-TV in San Francisco. Davis will be in the Knight TV Studio this Saturday, February 19th at 2.30pm to discuss her new memoir, “Never in My Wildest Dreams: A Black Woman’s Life in Journalism.”
A book signing will follow the program.
