New York Post's Wilson Leaves to Become a Priest
New York Post columnist and editorial board member John Wilson is leaving the paper to join the priesthood, the New York Observer reports.
Wilson says the move wasn’t a result of an oversaturation of some of the Post‘s baser instincts.
He added that the Post’s reputation for racy headlines and occasionally bawdy humor had little to do with his decision to seek a life of celibacy and the spirit, and said he was able to infuse a little bid of the sacred into his work there.
