New York Media Expands Its Menu of Offerings With Menupages Purchase

Not to be outdone by his own big news, PaidContent’s Rafat Ali scored a scoop yesterday with the news that Bruce Wasserstein’s New York Media, publishers of New York, purchased Menupages, the five-year-old site that publishes restaurant and takeout menus in eight cities, including New York and Boston.

It’s the first purchase of an existing site for New York Media, which is focusing its efforts on transitioning into a digital brand.

NYM declined to comment but we’ll keep digging.
