Facebook today announced new ways for developers to target their mobile app install ads, including Wi-Fi connection and what version of an operating system users are on.

These changes give developers more control over who they reach and when, allowing them to ensure they’re advertising their app to people who are most likely to download it. It also helps them tailor their ad message, for example, making sure to promote the version of their app that will work best on the mobile operating system version they’re using.
