Need Publicity? Develop A Treasure Hunt

Creating clever ways to entice readers or a loyal following have been around for decades, but here’s a unique idea from two puppeteers trying to find Youtube fans. They’ve hidden $10,000 worth of gold coins somewhere in New York City.

But in order to find this treasure, you have to watch their clips and decipher the clues. The first video launched on Sunday, and a new clip will be released each week through September 19. The characters are puppet pirates and a ninja (why not?), and they tell a story of lost treasure, sprinkled with clues for the gold seeker.
