Myrimis Real-life LBS Social Network Goes Mobile

Nanomatic has come out with a mobile version of its Myrimis “Real-Life” location-based social network.

Users can create social networks built around their real-life friends, family members, pets and even cars and boats, and then develop services like virtual caring for pets, people and home and car security, the company says.

“Myrimis allows people to share ‘real-life’ experiences like [points of interest] and geo-tagged pictures in real-time, while on the move,” said CEO August Bodo Schnabel.

Myrimis-mobile users can, among other things, find new friends worldwide based on a range of search criteria, search for friends, family members, hotels and other points of interest on street and satellite maps; get turn-by-turn directions for all search results, create multimedia diaries and monitor and control homes, cars and boats worldwide using ZigBee.
