MTV continues to add to its News team. The company’s latest hires include Jamil Smith as senior national correspondent and Erica Futterman as New York bureau chief.
Smith comes to MTV from New Republic, where he served as a senior editor. He previously worked for MSNBC and the NFL.
Futterman most recently served as Refinery29’s managing editor. Prior to that she served as BuzzFeed’s managing editor.
