More People Reading Less News Online, Watching Even Less on Networks
According to Nielsen Online more people are reading newspapers online but, on average compared to a year ago, they are spending less time doing so. With some exceptions, namely the New York Times and Politico, both of which clocked a significant increases: The New York Times was up to an average of 40 minutes versus 35 minutes and Politico went from 9 minutes in October 2007 to almost 19 minutes in October 2008.
