Cat fever is heating up on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” as hosts Mika, Joe and Willie are stepping up their game of giving Politico reporter Patrick Gavin a hard time about his three cats. In recent weeks, the crew has gotten extra catty, baiting and scratching Gavin at every turn, meowing in the background and playing songs such as “Cats in the Cradle.” In one serious segment about Sen.-elect Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Joe worried aloud that Gavin was “losing his sense of humor.”
