Mega Millions Journalist Establishes USC Scholarship Fund

This is the kind of news that just makes you feel good. Jacki Wells Cisneros (pictured), the NBC 4 employee who won a gigantic Mega Millions jackpot last spring together with her husband, has established a $1 million scholarship program for undergraduate students at her Alma Mater USC. An initial Annenberg school disbursement will be attached to the 2011-12 school year and will include some mentoring.

Per the recent USC news item:

Award recipients must demonstrate strong interest in the field of journalism, communication, public relations or public diplomacy.
