Cellfire and McDonald’s are doing their part to caffeinate the residents of Utah, Wyoming and Nevada – and testing the viability of a mobile coupon campaign at the same time.

McDonaldsLogo.jpgThe fast-food phenom is promoting the new availability of iced coffee at participating stores in the region with a mobile coupon that lets consumers try the tasty beverage for free.

Folks who visit the Cellfire site or text “mcd” to 22888 and opt-in to the mobile coupon program will receive the McDonald’s offer on their phone. As with all Cellfire coupons, users just have to display the offer at the point of purchase to get the discount.
