Young Viewers Dis Young Technology: We think we get it now. After a week of reading the kids-are-bored series, we realize what they’re doing: By offering increasingly dull stories, LAT is getting meta on us.

Today’s installment is a rehash of pieces we have seen in the LAT and elsewhere, the technology that would make watching TV shows and movies on cellphones and iPods ain’t there yet, and most kids aren’t ready to make the leap. The story also indicates that few young people read newspapers. Wonder why.
