New KPBS Show Examines Realities of Today's Economy
When San Diego’s new weeknight local news and analysis show KPBS Evening Edition launches next week, the focus will be squarely on the economy.
In addition to a marquee five-part series, hosts Dwane Brown and Joanne Faryon will also cue a look at the booming business currently being done by area thrift stores and, later in the first week, a piece on unemployment in the Imperial Valley. Currently, more than a third of that area’s workforce is without full-time employment.
