Kobo Partners With French Bookseller FNAC

On the heels of news that Amazon has opened a Kindle store in France, Kobo has partnered with French bookseller FNAC to sell its eReaders.

Under the terms of the partnership, sometime during Q4 2011, FNAC will sell Kobo eReaders in 81 stores in France and online with Fnac.com. Kobo will be giving in-store demos to French consumers to teach them how to use the devices.

Kobo CEO Michael Serbinis, stated: “Partnering with leading bookseller in France, FNAC, brings Kobo closer to our vision of delivering the best eReading experience to more readers, on any device, in more countries around the world.
