Jared Max Moves to ESPN 1050, But 'Will Always Remember' WCBS Send-Off
Jared Max spent 11 years as the morning sports anchor on WCBS-AM. As we reported on Friday, Max gave his final report on 880 before heading up the dial to ESPN 1050 (WEPN) April 18. CBS staffers gave Max a nice ovation for his years of service on the station.
“…The surprise of that applause in the newsroom is a moment I will always remember,” Max tells FishbowlNY. “Just as I still get chills thinking of, and reliving a grand slam, which I hit an inning after making three errors on one play, costing us two runs, to win our Little League World Series when I was 12 years old.”
