Jan Chipchase Leaves Nokia to Join Frog Design

Fresh from opening its new studio in Munich, frog design has lured Nokia’s Jan Chipchase to its amphibious fold. Today Chipchase announced his resignation from Nokia, where he has held roles ranging from principal scientist (in Tokyo) to design strategist (in Los Angeles) and helped create an array of products, to become executive creative director of global insights at frog, beginning July 1. Based in the firm’s Shanghai studio, Chipchase is tasked with expanding frog’s presence in Asia and overseeing its global user research practice.
