iPhone & iPod touch 3.1.2 Update
The iPhone OS 3.1.2 updates for the iPhone and iPod touch share two common fixes:
1. Sporadic issue that causes the device not to wake from sleep
2. Fixes bug that causes crashes during video streaming sometimes
The iPhone specific fix is an intermittent issue that may interrupt cell network services until the device is restarted. Ironically, I had to soft reset my iPhone 3G twice to get a data signal back (I also had to walk away from my home which is in an AT&T wireless voice and data dead zone).
The update for my iPhone 3G was a 241.7MB
